One of only 57 National Cancer Institute (NCI) Comprehensive Cancer Centers nationwide, Moffitt is able to offer leading-edge therapies and promising clinical trials along with a commitment to Moffitt Total Cancer Care®—an individualized approach that is allowing us to sculpt drug therapies, nutrition, pain management, survivorship, and spiritual support that are unique to each patient.

Moffitt Cancer Center supports a staff of more than 300 faculty members and 300 advanced practice providers known as the Moffitt Medical Group.

Most faculty members are fellowship trained and are among the best in their respective fields. The center’s clinical services and cancer physicians are organized into disease-oriented interdisciplinary programs, along with clinical services that include diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, pathology and anesthesiology.

One of the fastest-growing cancer centers in the United States, Moffitt is the only Florida-based NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a private, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to research and patient care, the center includes a 206 bed-hospital, a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant unit, an outpatient clinic with a complete digital imaging center, a state-of-the-art radiation therapy department, infusion center, 14 operating rooms, two research buildings, and three locations, including Magnolia on the USF campus, McKinley Outpatient Center and Moffitt at International Plaza. 

Moffitt is accredited by JCAHO, the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, the American College of Radiology and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers among others.
