A successful Blood and Marrow Transplant is an interdisciplinary team effort, and our nursing professionals work within these teams to treat patients in the continuum of their disease. The collaboration with hematology and immunology results in excellent patient care and well being, and integrating both the basic science and clinical science, we are improving the outcomes of patients with cancer.

Moffitt’s Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit offers nurses the opportunity to work in Inpatient, BMT Clinic, BMT Treatment Center and BMT Research. In the inpatient units, registered nurses administer high-dose chemotherapy, perform stem cell transplants and provide pre- and post-transplant supportive care in a telemetry and critical-care capable environment.

As an employer of choice, Moffitt understands that the required level of care demands as much from our employees as it does from our patients. We provide great employee benefits and programs to help our employees find balance at work.
