Meet Lloyd

Two months after completing prostate cancer treatment, Lloyd was back at Moffitt Cancer Center. Inspired by the support he received as a patient, he wanted to give back as a volunteer. 

Volunteering has provided Lloyd with a clear mission: Make each day brighter for every patient. Lloyd strives to put patients at ease and also understands the challenges facing caregivers. Lloyd lost his first wife to cancer and helped his brother battle the disease. "Having cancer in my family strengthened me," says Lloyd. "It's given me a determination to not only beat cancer but to be a help for others as well."
