Miles for Moffitt Presented by AutoNation
The Miles for Moffitt 2019 event on November 23 was an incredible success thanks to everyone in the community who came together to show support those battling cancer, to celebrate our survivors and to honor those we've lost. We have already raised more than any other year for cancer research, and donations are being accepted until January 31. Learn more on the Miles for Moffitt website to check your race results, find inspiring photos or to make a donation.
Miles for Moffitt is an annual family event that welcomes runners and walkers who are interested in getting a healthy dose of exercise while helping Moffitt carry on its mission -- to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. Sign up for the 10K, 5K, 1K Run/Walk, Wheelchair Race or Kids Dash, or join as a virtual runner. One hundred percent of all proceeds go directly to support cancer research at Moffitt.
Since 2006, Miles for Moffitt has raised more than $5 million, funded 56 pilot research studies and gained more than $18 million in additional federal support, all set into motion by our participants, sponsors and donors. Thanks to the generous support of community members like you, the event continues to grow each year. Miles for Moffitt is growing at a fast pace. In 2018, the race moved downtown for the first time. Amalie Arena, the new home of the event, ensures the event can grow significantly in the coming years in terms of the number of participants, dollars raised and the profile of the event locally, regionally and throughout the state.
