The Moffitt Cancer Center catchment area currently includes 23 counties spanning West Central Florida. This area is home to 10.2 million people (47% of the state's population) with an anticipated growth of 11.8% by 2025. In 2020, these counties were also the source of 88.2% of Moffitt's patients. It covers 100% of the counties in two Florida Cancer Control Collaborative regions: East Central Florida and Southwest Florida​

These counties include Brevard, Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lake, Lee, Manatee, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, Seminole and Sumter.

We have a unique population in our catchment area.
