TAMPA, Fla. — Moffitt Cancer Center has been named one of the 2024 Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces. This is the 13th time Moffitt has been recognized. The Top Workplaces list includes 99 companies and is exclusively based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey measures culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution and connection.

“Being recognized as a Tampa Bay Times Top Workplace for 13 years is truly remarkable, especially knowing that it’s driven by team member feedback,” said Jack McKenna, senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Moffitt. “Over the years, Moffitt has experienced significant growth, and our dedication to our team members remains steadfast. We continually strive to cultivate an environment where our team members can flourish.”

Recognizing the significance of investing in and appreciating its team members, Moffitt provides a comprehensive health and wellness program including financial guidance, mental wellbeing programs, education and family support resources, team member engagement networks, work-life balance and career growth.

Through celebrations such as National Hospital and Research Week, the cancer center recognizes its team members for the critical role they play in Moffitt’s success.

To gather regular feedback and identify areas of opportunity, Moffitt also conducts an annual team member survey. The data is used to measure engagement relative to national health care organizations and to make improvements. Additionally, quarterly all team member town hall meetings are held to facilitate transparent communication with leadership.

Moffitt has received additional accolades such as being named Top 10 in the nation by Newsweek, a Digital Health Most Wired Organization and an Elite Winner of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work for in the Nation
