TAMPA, Fla. Moffitt Cancer Center was recently named one of HealthCare’s Most Wired organizations for 2023 by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). Among the more than 55,000 organizations represented, Moffitt ranked above peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure, and patient engagement.

This annual survey is conducted to assess how effectively health care organizations apply core and advanced technologies into their clinical and business programs to improve health and care in their communities. The surveys assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading.

“Receiving the Most Wired award in both Ambulatory and Acute is a great honor,” said Joyce Oh, Moffitt’s vice president and chief information officer. “This is not only a testament to the talented teams at Moffitt's Center for Digital Health, but also indicative of Moffitt Cancer Center’s overall commitment to utilizing technology to enable a better clinician experience and improve patient care.”

Moffitt achieved a level 7 special recognition for its ambulatory and acute efforts.

This is the fourth year CHIME has recognized Moffitt as one of the Most Wired organizations.

Moffitt has received additional accolades such as being named Top 10 in the nation by Newsweek, being recognized on Forbes’ America’s Best Large Employers List and Forbes’ Best Employers for Women, and is also a Tampa Bay Times Top Workplace.
