TAMPA, Fla. Moffitt Cancer Center has been recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers 2023. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

Forbes and Statista selected the America’s Best Large Employers 2023 through an independent survey of approximately 45,000 workers at companies with more than 5,000 employees in the United States. Across 25 industry sectors, 1,000 employers have been awarded.

Moffitt ranks 134 out of 500 large employers. The list includes 34 hospitals and health systems, and Moffitt ranked 29.

“We are ecstatic to be recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers,” said Amy Durham, vice president of Human Resources Operations. “It is an honor to learn that we were awarded based on the feedback of our team members. We strive to be an organization where employees are appreciated, have a voice and are thriving.”

The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Participants also had the opportunity to recommend other companies, as well.
