Kaitlyn Coucoules is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing in breast radiation oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. She has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2016. She has 2 prior years of experience in orthopedic surgery and has been with the Moffitt radiation oncology department since 2018. Kaitlyn completed her Physician Assistant training at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. Kaitlyn plays an active role in educating breast cancer patients during all phases of radiation treatment, managing side effects of radiation therapy and following previously treated patients. Her special interests include mentoring APP students, as well as, promoting lifestyle interventions to reduce the risk of recurrence and/or new disease. Kaitlyn recently earned her Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate through eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
