The Non-Therapeutic Office (NTRO) was created in October of 2021 and it provides research infrastructure and expertise as a centralized unit. This office supports the Total Cancer Care (TCC) protocol in several ways and has created efficiencies to encourage even more faculty to participate in the science related to TCC and create efficiencies for the patients.

Thank you to all the patients who are part of TCC, without you, we could not do it.

Jyllica Aurelio

Jyllica Aurelio
Research Coordinator III

I started working at Moffitt in 2021 as a medical assistant in the Thoracic Oncology Clinic and transitioned to working as a research coordinator in 2022. I work on studies that focus on exploring ways to help patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung carcinoma and small cell carcinoma, ranging at all stages of their treatment journey. It’s fulfilling to see my work play such a crucial role in future research goals.

Deanna Witte

Deanna Witte
Research Coordinator IV

I work in the neuro-oncology clinic coordinating research for TCC and CARING, a caregiver-focused research study. Many of my studies look to understand the science behind brain tumors, including glioblastoma and brain metastases. I worked extensively in clinical medicine before my time at Moffitt. I enjoy that my work now furthers the impact of clinical medicine.
