All are welcome to visit the Patient Library & Welcome Center for a comfortable place to relax, unwind and enjoy complimentary snacks.

The Patient Library & Welcome Center provides easy-to-understand educational materials to help you communicate with your health care team and participate in decisions about your care. Staff and volunteers will assist you by answering your questions and helping you find books, pamphlets and brochures on:

  • Specific disease and treatment options
  • Coping, caregiving and survivorship
  • Communicating with your health care team
  • Nutrition and integrative medicine
  • Moffitt’s supportive services and programs

Pamphlets and Brochures

Browse the selection of free pamphlets and brochures from a variety of credible sources, including the American Cancer Society, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and the National Cancer Institute.

Lending Library

Books and DVDs are available for reference or check-out for up to two weeks.

Personalized Information Searches

Staff and volunteers will provide you with easy-to-understand pamphlets, fact sheets or journal articles to help answer your questions and increase your understanding.

American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) Resource Corner

Computers/Print/Copy/Fax/ Phone Service at no charge

Phone service and computers with high-speed internet and printing capability are available for personal use. Staff will copy and fax your documents.
