In alliance with our educational objectives, the Department of Radiation Oncology welcomes U.S.-based medical students and foreign radiation oncology residents and attendings. The timeframes for this and the application processes differ.

U.S. Medical Students

If you are interested in a clinical rotation with us, please apply through VSAS. (The sponsoring institution is "USF-Morsani.") We accept rising fourth-year or fourth-year medical students for the months of May – November, inclusive.

Foreign Radiation Oncology Residents/Physicians

We accept foreign radiation oncology residents or physicians for rotations of one to three months between the months of December – April, inclusive. We might also be able to accept a foreign visitor for the months of May – November, if space is available, but this is not guaranteed. We generally recommend that you contact the Radiation Oncology Program Coordinator, Angie Courtney, in advance of your application (information below).

To apply, you must contact Moffitt’s Academic Visitor & Scholar Program (AVSP)
