Overview
Amal Abukhdeir is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been a part of the Moffitt Cancer Center team in the Neuro Oncology Department since 2020. Prior to joining Moffitt, she specialized as a nurse practitioner in the Lymphoma, Myeloma, and CAR-T cell department at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She is a Florida native and completed her Bachelors in Science and Nursing at the University of South Florida in 2013 and went on to complete her Masters degree as a Nurse practitioner at Texas Woman’s University while working full time as a Bone marrow transplant nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Cancer care has always been her passion since her volunteer experience at Moffitt as a teenager. Aside from enjoying her job and caring for her patients, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family!
