Overview

Dr. Sachin Apte is a Gynecologic Oncologist and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center.  As a third generation physician, Dr. Apte embraces the patient-centered approach of a Gynecologic Oncologist.  All aspects of a patient – medical, social, and psychologic – are considered prior to making a treatment plan.  Many of the patients he cares for have complex medical problems.  Moffitt’s multi-disciplinary, collaborative practice offers patients access to a wide range of specialists as a way to optimize, coordinate, and individualize treatment.  Dr. Apte has an interest in quality and process improvement. He has also served as an Examiner for the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.
