They may represent different teams, but on July 18, mascots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Rowdies and University of South Florida Bulls will unite to spread cheer to cancer patients.

For the sixth consecutive year, Captain Fear, ThunderBug, Raymond, Pete the Pelican and Rocky D. Bull will visit Moffitt Cancer Center for the annual Mascots at Moffitt Day event.

Around noon, the fabulous five will head to Moffitt’s Stabile Research Building to strut their stuff with Moffitt team members during a flash mob. Mascots are often known for their antics and energy that often lift moods and spirits. Fighting cancer is a team effort and team Tampa Bay is ready to show its support.
