The 2023 Miles for Moffitt presented by AutoNation is expecting record breaking numbers with more than 9,000 participants and counting. On Saturday morning, Moffitt Cancer Center patients, team members and supporters will hit the pavement running, walking or wheeling for a great cause: cancer research.

As the cancer center’s premier fundraising event returns for its 18th year, the community has raised over $1.3 million so far.

Returning as hosts are 10 Tampa Bay anchors Frank Wiley and Caitlin Lockerbie, Univision anchor Marianny Egurrola, as well as Moffitt’s very own Joshua Rivera. The much anticipated Miles for Moffitt Party Deck is making its comeback, where participants can dance to the beats of DJ Ekin from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ensuring the party vibes last throughout the morning.

Stop by Moffitt’s Mole Patrol for a free skin cancer screening. A spirit tent will offer temporary tattoos, and a kids zone will have fun for the whole family. Coffee and refreshments will be available. Spectators can also stop for a picture with their favorite Tampa Bay mascots ThunderBug, Raymond, DJ Kitty and Captain Fear.

On-site packet pickup will be available until 7 a.m. For those participating virtually, a live broadcast will be available on the Moffitt Cancer Center Facebook page starting at 6 a.m.

Join the fun and show your Moffitt spirit by tagging your social posts with #MilesforMoffitt.

Over the past 18 years, Miles for Moffitt has raised more than $11 million supporting lifesaving cancer research at Moffitt and has gained millions in additional federal support.
