Moffitt Offers Free Cancer Screenings July 27 at Clearwater Beach’s Pier 60
WHO: Moffitt Cancer Center’s Cutaneous and Head and Neck Oncology programs
WHAT: Moffitt Cancer Center will offer free skin, head, neck and oral cancer screenings at Pier 60 in Clearwater on Saturday, July 27.
This is the 23rd year that Moffitt has offered free skin cancer screenings and the second year offering head, neck and oral cancer screenings. Moffitt will be under the Pavilion next to the pier.
One in five Americans will develop skin cancer, making it the most common form of cancer. Each year, more than 55,000 Americans are diagnosed with head, neck and oral cancers.
Free samples of sunscreen, lip balm and educational materials will also be available.
