WHO: Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida.

WHAT: “El Puente,” or the Bridge, is an event that brings researchers and community members together to discuss cancer research focused on Hispanic/Latino patients with cancer. This year’s event coincides with National Cancer Survivors Day. Dr. Ursula Martinez Pradeda will discuss smoking cessation among Hispanic/Latino cancer patients, and Gabriella Sanabria will address “Juntos Después del Cáncer” — A project for Latina breast cancer survivors and their partners. Both presentations will be in English and Spanish. The program is free and light refreshments will be served.

WHEN: Saturday, June 3, 9-10 a.m. (English program) and 11 a.m.-12 p.m. (Spanish program)
