WHO:             Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida.

WHAT:          Cancer is the leading cause of death among Hispanics in the United States. That is why Moffitt is reaching out to the Hispanic community to invite them to attend Latinos y el cáncer, a free educational
                     symposium conducted entirely in Spanish.

                     The Latinos y el cáncer Educational Symposium is designed to provide cancer education and resources to the Hispanic community. Physicians and researchers from Moffitt and its partner Ponce Health       
                     Sciences University in Puerto Rico will hold interactive sessions to discuss cancer prevention, early detection, physical health and nutrition.

                     Attendees will have the opportunity to hear testimonials from patients and survivors about the emotional impact of cancer.  There will also be free skin cancer screenings and the opportunity to register for
                     the National Marrow Donor Program to become a potential bone marrow donor.

                     Complimentary lunch, parking, and live music will be provided. Space is limited.
