TAMPA, Fla. – Moffitt Cancer Center has been named one of the Tampa Bay Top Workplaces 2022 by the Tampa Bay Times. This is the 11th time Moffitt has received this award. The Top Workplaces list includes 101 companies and is exclusively based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution and connection.

“Making the Top Workplaces list for the 11th time is a true reflection of Moffitt’s commitment to our team members,” said Amy Durham, vice president of human resources operations at Moffitt. “We value our team members — they are the heart of the cancer center. That is why we continue to foster an environment where team members feel appreciated and know that they have a voice within the organization.”

Understanding the importance of investing in and valuing its team members, Moffitt offers an array of benefits such as work-life balance programs, new mother lactation rooms, wellness reward programs, education assistance, career opportunities and team member awards.

Moffitt also conducts an annual team member survey to gather regular feedback and identify areas of opportunity. Quarterly town hall meetings connect leadership and team members face-to-face to foster open dialogue.

"During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business."

Moffitt has received additional accolades that include being No. 3 on DiversityInc’s 2021 Top Hospital list, a leader in the LGBTQ Healthcare Equality on the Human Rights Campaign’s Healthcare Equality Index, and Best and Brightest Company to Work For in the Nation. Moffitt also has earned the Magnet designation in recognition of its nursing excellence.
