TAMPA, Fla. — For the second year in a row, the National Association for Business Resources has recognized Moffitt Cancer Center as one of the 2017 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For®.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® competition honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in operations and employee enrichment that lead to increased productivity and financial performance. Moffitt is one of 437 national organizations being honored out of 2,000 nominations.

“Being recognized for this award for the second year in a row highlights Moffitt’s ongoing commitment to being an Employer of Choice. Attracting and retaining the best and brightest talent from around the world is the foundation for success in meeting our mission of curing cancer,” said Moffitt Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Mariana Bugallo-Muros.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® evaluates regional data of company performance and a set standard across the nation. The national program celebrates those companies that are making better business, creating richer lives and building a stronger community as a whole.

The companies that have been selected to be recognized nationally as a Best and Brightest Company to Work For® will be featured in the February 8th online edition of Corp! Magazine. The winning companies will also receive additional recognition as a national winner at a Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® awards symposium and gala at a location of their choosing in several U.S. cities.

The honor also bolsters Moffitt’s national prominence.
