TAMPA, Fla. Henry Reyes has joined Moffitt Cancer Center as vice president of Partnership Development. He will lead the Strategic Alliances team, which focuses on partnering with providers, hospitals and health systems to develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that broaden Moffitt’s reach. These partnerships will also provide enhanced access to Moffitt’s National Cancer Institute-designated services and expertise.

"We are very fortunate to have Henry join us at a time when our ability to scale the important work that we do is dependent on growing our existing partnerships and finding new partners," said L. David de la Parte, Moffitt’s executive vice president and general counsel. "Henry’s extensive financing background, relationships with the business and health care community, and deal-making abilities are exactly what we need as we continue to grow our impact on the health of the communities we serve and on the state’s economy.”"

Reyes will lead partnership development efforts in conjunction with Chief Partnership Officer Dr. Louis Harrison, chair of Moffitt’s Radiation Oncology Program and deputy physician-in-chief.

Reyes spent 13 years with J.P. Morgan Securities as a managing director in the Public Finance Investment Banking Group serving clients in Florida and Puerto Rico. His previous positions include five years as the national head of public finance with Raymond James and Associates and 15 years in public finance with Citigroup.

By implementing and maintaining relationships with other health care entities, Reyes plans to further partnerships as impactful vehicles for innovation, research and world class cancer care. This includes ongoing partnerships with Memorial Healthcare System in South Florida, BayCare and Advent Health, which will allow the science of cancer care to reach more communities and more populations.

"I want to do important work with a top tier entity that seeks to be the best in their class," Reyes said. "Moffitt has a culture that is client driven and it is committed to best practices and ensuring mutual advancement and benefits in its partnerships and alliances."

Reyes earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting with high honors from the University of Florida and an MBA in finance and strategic planning from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
