TAMPA, Fla.  — Terrence Wright has joined Moffitt Cancer Center as vice president of Facilities and Support Services. He brings more than 30 years of experience in health care facilities operations and will help lead Moffitt in its rapid expansion throughout the Tampa Bay area.

In this role, Wright will have facility management responsibilities over the teams in business operations, food services, environmental services, parking and transportation, security, safety and emergency management and quality integration. He has leadership expertise in facility management, operations and design and construction of health care facilities. Wright has a demonstrated record in cost improvement, strategic planning, patient satisfaction and enhancing facility operations.

Most recently, Wright was the director of Facilities Management & Construction at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois. Prior to that, Wright served in a variety of facility, design and construction roles within the public and private health care sectors, having managed a portfolio of projects in excess of $1 billion.

Wright holds an MBA from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of New Mexico. He holds certifications including Healthcare Safety Professional, Facilities Management Administrator, and Healthcare Construction. He has many professional affiliations including the American Society for Health Care Engineering and the Construction Management Association of America.
