TAMPA, Fla. — The National Association for Business Resources has recognized Moffitt Cancer Center as one of the Fall 2022 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation.

Applications for the award are offered in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Moffitt is one of 135 organizations from across the country to be honored out of 1,000 nominations for the fall.

This is the sixth year that the cancer center has appeared on the list, which highlights organizations that display a commitment to excellence in their human resources practices and employee enrichment. Organizations are assessed based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition and retention.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized as one of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation for the sixth consecutive year. Our founder, Mr. H. Lee Moffitt, believed one person could make a difference and his vision carries on through the commitment of our team members to accomplish this each and every day,” said Amy Durham, vice president of Human Resources Operations. “We return that commitment to our team members in the form of a diverse and inclusive culture that thrives on collaboration, personal and professional growth, and a laser focus on Moffitt’s mission to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.”

With over 20 years of experience conducting the Best and Brightest competitions, the National Association for Business Resources has identified numerous human resource best practices and provided benchmarking for companies that continue to be leaders in employment standards.

“These 2022 winning organizations have stood out during unpredictable times and have proven they are an employer of choice. They continue to keep the needs of their employees first and provide perks that include development, wellbeing, work-life balance, rewards and recognition. In addition, these winning companies offer a fantastic work culture and workplace environment that attracts and retains superior employees,” said Jennifer Kluge, president and CEO of NABR and The Best and Brightest Program.
