Our Spring 2023 application will be open from 5 p.m. November 14 to November 28, 2022.
Step 1 - All applicants must be 18 or older and be fully vaccinated for COVID- 19 at the time of application to be eligible to volunteer at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Step 2 - Complete the online application, during the application period. You must attach a copy of your photo ID, a copy of your visa (if required), your COVID vaccination record/card, and the completed background check form to your volunteer application in order to submit. No late submissions will be accepted of these supplemental materials will be accepted.
Step 3 - Register for and attend a mandatory virtual orientation session. If you do not attend an orientation session, we will be unable to proceed with your application. There are 2 volunteer orientations scheduled for each application period. Orientations are hosted via Zoom. Please make sure to be on time for the orientation. There is mandatory information to be provided in the beginning. If you log in late and this information has already started, you will be unable to join the orientation.
Step 4 - Register for and attend an orientation session:
Monday, November 28 - 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday, December 2 - 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Step 5 - Attend a health screening and be cleared to start volunteering. (Applicants will be scheduled for their health screenings at orientation).
