All summer long, you’ve been training and moving for what matters in preparation for Miles for Moffitt. With this year’s event going virtual, Moffitt Cancer Center supporters around the world can now participate in a 15-year tradition from any location.

Whether you are running or walking, it’s time to lace up your shoes and put your training skills into motion. With the virtual event right around the corner, here’s what you need to know to have a successful Miles for Moffitt.

We’re kicking off race week, Oct. 19-23 with spirit week, celebrating special days like Team Tuesday and Training Thursday to help you get ready for the big event.

On Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m., do some stretches to get warmed up and tune into the Miles for Moffitt Facebook page for a fun interactive program. You can celebrate your loved ones or your cancer journey during this year’s program, which will feature Moffitt researchers, stories from our courageous community and special activities with Raymond and the Tampa Bay Rays.

⏰ SET A REMINDER ⏰ and join us for our Miles for Moffitt 2020 virtual send off as we move for what matters. Click below to be notified when we go live! Saturday Oct. 24

Once you have watched the live send-off, it is time to go outside and move for what matters. Remember to snap a photo of yourself, running, biking or whatever activity you decide.

Share how you moved by tagging your social media posts with #MilesforMoffitt, and you might be featured in our post-event video.
