Sabi Singh

Sabi Singh is the executive vice president and system chief operating officer of Moffitt Cancer Center, as well as president of Moffitt Hospital.

Singh is responsible for overseeing Moffitt's clinical and business operations and ensuring a world-class patient experience and care across each of our clinical campuses. As Moffitt serves more patients and accelerates our expansion plans to meet this demand, Singh's expertise in healthcare strategy, systems integration and developing high-functioning and cohesive teams is critical for future success.

In addition to improving care delivery, quality, safety and patient experience, Singh also leads information technologies, planning, design, construction, facilities, pharmaceutical enterprise and clinical and valued partnerships to improve access. His efforts to lead partnerships with other health systems and industry leaders are critical to providing world-class care and enhancing innovation in the clinical space.

Singh brings more than 25 years of professional and leadership experience to this role. He joined Moffitt in 2021. Prior to that, he served as the chief operating officer of the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics since 2013. Singh joined the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in 2005 and established the Office of Operations Improvement, aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement and a patient-centered journey. Previously, he worked in the automotive industry for 10 years in various leadership roles.

He holds a master's degree in operations research from Western Michigan University and a master's in economics honors from Panjab University, India. He has published several papers on healthcare operational improvements and is a thought leader on healthcare strategy and innovation. He also serves as a guest speaker and panelist at national and international events.
