The endoscopic specialists at Moffitt Cancer Center provide precision diagnostics and advanced treatment to patients with malignancies of the gastrointestinal tract, including colon cancer, rectal cancer, esophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer and several other diseases. Our Endoscopic Oncology Program receives a multitude of referrals from physicians every year. Our endoscopic specialists are leaders in their fields, with years of experience and fellowship training in various aspects of gastroenterology.

Moffitt’s endoscopic specialists collaborate with gastrointestinal cancer experts, including surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and several other physicians, to provide a full spectrum of treatment to patients. Our team also includes counselors, dietitians and additional supportive care professionals who help patients navigate the unique emotional and physical challenges that often come with cancer.
How to refer a patient to Moffitt’s endoscopic specialists
Physicians can refer a patient to Moffitt’s endoscopic specialists by completing an online form or contacting a physician liaison for assistance or support. Routine colonoscopies and GI screening tests may be performed at Moffitt at any time. We understand that time is precious when attending to cancer patients, which is why we aim to respond to all referrals within 24 business hours.
