Hook and Slice Golf Tournament Supports GES Research

Golfers teed off at Tampa Palms Golf Resort in March to raise funds for the George Edgecomb Society’s research program. In addition to Jonathan Graham, CEO of Horus Construction, which hosted the event, and Dr. Patrick Hwu, CEO of Moffitt, there were more than 100 participants ready to take a swing for a good cause. The event raised $65,000 for GES grants that will focus on health equity research.

"Cancer health equity should be a goal for everyone in our community, including business leaders," shared Graham. "I appreciate the opportunity to increase my engagement with Moffitt and the George Edgecomb Society as we address this critical issue, and am already looking forward to next year’s golf tournament as we continue to support the foundation."
