Research

My career has been characterized by the development of mathematical models, devices, techniques and systems for both the laboratory and the clinic for the advancement of cancer research. Currently, I am interested in novel ways of using our ability to sculpt radiation dose in radiation oncology to enhance the beneficial effects of radiotherapy; for example, by activating drugs, genes or nanoparticles in a dose-dependent manner.  I am also interested in novel therapeutic applications of high intensity focused ultrasound.
