Moffitt Cancer Center is a top choice for many referring physicians with patients who are experiencing cardiotoxic side effects of cancer treatment. Our cardio-oncology specialists help individuals with all forms of cancer who are currently undergoing treatment, as well as patients who have completed treatment and are transitioning back to life without cancer. The goal of this program is to provide wide-ranging treatment and supportive care to prevent, address or manage the effects of certain types of cancer therapies on the heart.

Cardio-oncology services at Moffitt

Moffitt’s Cardio-Oncology Program includes experienced cardiologists and oncologists who collaborate to effectively manage each patient’s specific symptoms and help create a better quality of life for those they serve. These specialists attend to the needs of patients at various stages in their cancer journey and survivorship, providing important services such as:

  • Medical risk reduction through various cardioprotective agents
