RET pumpkin carving attendees

On Thursday, October 26, the Research Education and Training Office embraced the spooky spirit of the season by hosting our annual Halloween Party. The event was nothing short of a hauntingly good time.

As attendees mingled, they were treated to an array of delectable Halloween-themed treats and punch, concocted to bewitch their taste buds.

The highlight of the event was the eagerly awaited Pumpkin Carving Contest. Participants unleashed their inner artists to transform plain pumpkins into extraordinary and eerie masterpieces. The room buzzed with excitement as carving tools met pumpkin flesh, and the result was a gallery of astonishing creations.

After careful deliberation, the judges revealed the winners of this spine-tingling contest.

First Place: Olabisi Osunmakinde, Jie Li, Daiana Celias, Alexis Onimus, and Auriane Giron

Second Place: Anna Iermolaieva, María Camila Jimenez, Chinmayee Kakirde, Lejin Sun, Athena Tsingelis

The Research Education and Training Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who attended and helped make this Halloween party a haunting success. We look forward to hosting everyone again next year!”
