Moffitt Hosts Tampa Bay Chamber Collegiate Leadership Program

Moffitt Cancer Center hosted the Tampa Bay Chamber Collegiate Leadership program for a one-day visit entitled “Healthcare and Mental Health Day” on Jan. 19. The cohort of 30 students heard about educational opportunities at Moffitt and participated in tours of research laboratories and panel discussions.

Collegiate Leadership is a program that prepares student leaders to have a positive impact on their future communities while they explore careers in the nonprofit, private, public and philanthropic sectors that highlight what makes Tampa Bay a favored place to live and work. The program provides students with the knowledge, skills and networks necessary to develop their professional lives and build a future as engaged Tampa Bay citizens.

Moffitt is pleased to continue partnerships with programs such as Collegiate Leadership to help promote education and engage with the next generation of healthcare and research leaders.
