PhD students networking

Moffitt Cancer Center hosted a group of 30 promising PhD graduate students in person and another 32 students via Zoom over the past three weeks as part of recruitment efforts for the Cancer PhD program.

Moffitt, in collaboration with the University of South Florida, offers four unique PhD majors in cancer biology, cancer immunology and immunotherapy, cancer chemical biology and integrated mathematical oncology. This highly competitive program provides cutting-edge training and education in cancer research to achieve the Moffitt mission of “contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer.”

The in-person events included a dinner at the world-famous Columbia Café, tours of campus, networking opportunities with current students and dynamic interviews with Moffitt faculty researchers.

The future of cancer research rests in the next generation and we can’t wait to see which students will be joining us in Fall 2024.
