Louis B. Harrison, MD, is the Chair Emeritus, Department of Radiation Oncology; Senior Physician Executive at Moffitt Cancer Center. 

Harrison joined Moffitt in 2014 as chair and senior member of the Department of Radiation Oncology. 

He has served as president and board chairman of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), which is the largest radiation oncology society in the country. Harrison has been a former president and board member of both the American Brachytherapy Society and the International Society of Intraoperative Radiation Therapy. He also has served on the boards of the Radiation Oncology Institute, as well as the Eastern Division of the American Cancer Society, where he was previously named physician of the year.

Prior to joining Moffitt, Harrison served as physician-in-chief for the Continuum Cancer Centers of New York and was the Gerald J. Friedman Chair and chairman of Radiation Oncology at Beth Israel Medical Center and St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals of the Mount Sinai Health System. He was professor of Radiation Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
