Ken Komorny, Pharm.D., B.C.P.S.

Vice President, Chief Pharmacy Officer

Ken Komorny, Pharm.D., B.C.P.S., is the vice president and chief pharmacy officer at Moffitt Cancer Center. He leads Moffitt's pharmacy enterprise, developing best practices to provide the highest level of pharmacy care.

In his role, Komorny is responsible for administering, planning, monitoring and delivering a full range of clinical, administrative, research and distributive pharmaceutical services for all inpatient and outpatient clinical sites. He has more than 13 years of experience in pharmacy leadership.

Before joining Moffitt, he served as the associate chair in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida and as the assistant director of Pharmacy Services for UF Health Shands Hospital.

Komorny has a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Toledo.

He is a member of several societies including the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association and the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology. He leads various committees with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and is faculty in the Pharmacy Leadership Academy of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and gives leadership lectures.
