If you want to stay informed about the latest cancer therapies and innovative strategies for prevention and detection, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting is the place to be. More than 40,000 clinicians and researchers from around the globe gather to discuss the latest advancements in cancer care, making it one of the largest and most diverse cancer conferences worldwide.

This year's theme, "The Art and Science of Cancer Care: From Comfort to Cure," sets the stage for a multiday meeting featuring over 200 sessions. These sessions will cover a range of topics, including breakthrough treatments like targeted therapies and immunotherapy, new technologies and research focused on enhancing patient quality of life and outcomes.

More than 5,000 research abstracts will be presented, with Moffitt Cancer Center physician-scientists actively participating in oral, poster and educational sessions. They'll share insights on various subjects, including clinical trials of new targeted therapies and cancer vaccines, the impact of geographic and racial disparities on cancer care and clinical trials and the role of the gut microbiome in treatment efficacy.
