PGY-2 Terms and Benefits
The PGY-2 Oncology Residency Program is 12 months in duration and each resident must provide a minimum of 2,080 hours of service as determined by the MCC Department of Pharmacy and Residency Advisory Committee. Resident schedules will comply with the current duty standards of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). For this commitment, the resident will receive a competitive stipend, health care and other insurance benefits according to MCC Employee Policy for full-time exempt employees of the Department of Pharmacy.
Service
The PGY-2 resident will participate in central pharmacy staffing as part of the service requirement for certificate completion.
Planned Staffing Model:
- Weekend: every third weekend (day shift)
- Holiday: one major and one minor holiday (day shift)
