PGY-2 Application Process and Qualifications
Virtual Showcase
Moffitt Cancer Center will host a virtual information session for the PGY-2 oncology program from 6 to 8 p.m. EST on November 8, 2023. Our goal is to give candidates an opportunity to learn more about the program and to get their questions answered.
Qualifications
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency (PGY-1)
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Eligibility for licensure or current licensure in the state of Florida
Applications
Interested applicants are required to submit the following via PhORCAS:
- Letter of intent
- Curriculum vitae
- Three letters of recommendation
- Transcripts
Deadline
January 2, 2024 by 11:59 p.m. EST
Interviews
Selection of candidates will be made based on the consensus of the residency recruitment committee and program leadership. Selected candidates will be invited for virtual interviews. Interviews will be half-day and candidates can expect to complete a 25–30-minute presentation on a topic of their choosing.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to schedule a preliminary interview through the Personnel Placement Service (PPS) at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting in December.
