Interns gain valuable hands-on experience by working directly with experienced professionals, entrepreneurs and investors to perform meaningful work on behalf of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Office office.

Programs

Science Intern

As a science intern with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Office, you will get projects involving technology and market assessment, creating marketing materials to be sent to industry partners, analyzing pertinent industries for licensing opportunities, and assisting with executive summaries.

Marketing Intern

As a marketing intern with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Office, you will get projects assisting with planning the annual Business of Biotech conference, developing content and graphics for magazines, writing stories for the annual report, and marketing campaigns to promote available technologies.

Accounting Intern

As an accounting intern with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Office, you will work directly with the financial operations manager and get projects relating to legal invoices, analyzing monthly expenditures, license billing, and budgeting for the office.

Legal Intern

As a legal intern with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Office, you will take on projects involving the attainment of intellectual property protection, reviewing contracts, and doing legal research. These projects require legal knowledge of interpreting statues, regulations, and case law.
