Moffitt Cancer Center's Pathology Program is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, a distinction that speaks directly to the skill of our specialists. Led by Chair Bruce Wenig, MD, our pathology specialists aim to provide timely and accurate consultation services to Moffitt patients as well as referring physicians. We ensure accuracy by maintaining the highest levels of specialization for all of our services, which include image analysis, immunochemistry, molecular diagnostics and flow cytometry. Our quality of work is closely monitored both internally and externally, and our program participates in both hospital-wide improvement programs and proficiency testing to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care.
