Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Outcomes

The blood and marrow transplant program at Moffitt Cancer Center is the largest and most active program of its kind in Florida and the Southeast United States. Due to the specialization of our program, we are able to achieve exceptional outcomes for our patients. We understand that survival rates are an important factor in making your treatment decisions.

Our transplant specialists are committed to providing comprehensive treatment and support in one location. We are an established leader in the transplant field, performing more than 400 transplants a year. Moffitt is also one of only six centers in the nation performing a high volume of transplants with outcomes exceeding expected survival. In addition, we are one of the only centers to offer transplantation for adults age 70 and older who are indicated for a bone marrow transplant.

We are also proud our overall cancer survival rates up to four times higher than the national averages and are committed to educating patients on cancer treatment options and results. Moffitt is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, recognized for our commitment to innovation in research and treatment.
