The top finishers of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg were given trophies at the Moffitt Cancer Center Victory Circle.

The Firestone Grand Prix raced into town March 8–10 bringing the streets of downtown St. Petersburg alive.

Moffitt Cancer Center team members got the ride of their lives in a pace car lap around the track. With speeds topping 100 miles per hour, it was the ultimate IndyCar fan experience.

The weekend wrapped up with cancer screenings courtesy of Moffitt’s Mole Patrol and Head and Neck teams. More than 100 racegoers stopped by Moffitt’s RV to take advantage of the free health checks.

Over in Moffitt Cancer Center Victory Circle, Josef Newgarden took home the top spot as the champion of the NTT IndyCar Series race. Dr. Jonathan Zager, Moffitt’s physician of the year, presented Pato O’Ward with the NTT IndyCar Series 2nd place trophy.

Moffitt has been a proud partner of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg since 2017.
