Moffitt Cancer Center, Magnolia Campus

TAMPA, Fla. — Moffitt Cancer Center has been named one of the 2023 Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces. This is the 12th time Moffitt has been recognized. The Top Workplaces list includes 100 companies and is exclusively based on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey measures culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution and connection.

“Our team members play a critical role within the cancer center and their commitment to Moffitt and our mission is unmatched. In return we are committed to creating an environment where team members can thrive,” said Amy Durham, vice president of Human Resources Operations at Moffitt. “Being recognized as a Top Workplace for 12 years is an honor and to know it is based on feedback from our team members is truly amazing.”

Understanding the importance of investing in and valuing its team members, Moffitt offers an array of benefits such as work-life balance programs, new mother lactation rooms, wellness reward programs, education assistance, growth and career opportunities and team member awards.

Moffitt also conducts an annual team member survey to gather regular feedback and identify areas of opportunity. Quarterly town hall meetings connect leadership and team members to foster open dialogue.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

Moffitt has received additional accolades such as being named an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader on the Human Rights Campaign’s Healthcare Equality Index, a Best and Brightest Company to Work For in the Nation for six years in a row, as well as being recognized on DiversityInc’s Top Hospital & Health System list.
