Rehabilitation Services

Moffitt Cancer Center offers a full range of rehabilitation services to help our patients improve their daily function and lead higher-quality lives. Therapy can be beneficial to patients who notice differences in their physical, social, psychological and/or work-related abilities during and after their cancer treatment. We also offer rehabilitation services for people who haven't been diagnosed with cancer. Our mission is to improve the quality of life, physical health, and functional independence of patients across all cancer diagnoses and phases of recovery, as well as contribute to the prevention and treatment of swallowing and communication disorders.

Moffitt’s multispecialty rehabilitation services team includes experts from physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology. These professionals work closely with our oncologists to develop individualized programs to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
