Serves 3
12-ounce sockeye salmon fillet, cut into 3 pieces
Coarse-grained sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh garlic or garlic powder
2 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce
¼ teaspoon sesame seeds
2 green onion stalks, chopped
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Season salmon with salt, garlic, pepper and soy sauce. Place salmon, skin side down, on a non-stick baking sheet or in a non-stick pan with an oven-proof handle. Bake until salmon is cooked through, about 12 to 15 minutes.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions and serve over basmati or jasmine rice.
