The Table of Contents of this issue of Cancer Control features examples of Arabic tiles created by Nisamuddin Alisher Navoi during the second half of the 15th century, the period of Timurid's rule and the golden age of culture in Herat. Navoi's creative work embodied popular ideals, the aesthetic views of the people, and their ideas of beauty. These examples of Navoi's work were reproduced from a CD Rom available from "Planet Art."
