About the art in this issue:
The artwork featured in this issue of Cancer Control is by Lucy Kettlewell, from the personal collection of John Horton. E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
A gifted and prolific artist, Lucy Kettlewell was an integral part of the arts scene in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she lived and worked. Her energetic and colorful painting style that captured many of the salient local sites and events of the late 20th century enriched and enlivened all her canvases. Her art continues to delight the eye and the mind to this day. The cover image is a representation of the Batcheller Mansion, then a somewhat decayed turn-of-the-century edifice located in the heart of the also somewhat decayed Saratoga Springs. The art selections in the body of the issue include a series of pictures of small boats painted in the early 1970’s during a summer sojourn in rural Michigan, as well as representations of Saratoga Springs and Mount Equinox.
