About the art in this issue:

Linda Holmes, an award-winning Massachusetts-born artist, began painting after relocating to St. Augustine, Florida. The city’s charm and European feel, along with its surrounding scenic rivers, marshes, and beaches, are often painted on site and in her studio from her own photographs. She works mainly with oils but also enjoys pastels and watercolor. Her colorful impressionist works are exhibited in galleries, art shows, and corporate and private collections. A breast cancer survivor (2004), she credits painting as her principal source of coping with treatment and recovery.
