WHO: Moffitt Cancer Center, the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Florida, will celebrate the near completion of its brand new Child Development Center on its McKinley campus.
WHAT: A brand new facility at Moffitt’s McKinley Outpatient Center campus is nearing completion and is expected to open in late May 2018. The new building will accommodate approximately 150 children, more than its predecessor. Previously, 61 families utilized the center. The new location is estimated to assist nearly 80 families with child development opportunities.
Moffitt has been frequently cited for its family-friendly policies, including repeated listings on Working Mother magazine's best companies for women seeking the best work-life balance, and repeat appearances in the Tampa Bay Times' Top Workplace rankings.
Foresight Construction Group will host an appreciation barbeque lunch and tour at the site.
